Ten Elementary schools in the Hiri and Abau Districts of Central province completed two separate one-day workshops on school social accountability and monitoring tools that will be used at the respective schools.

The Consultative Implementation and Monitoring Council (CIMC) was told that the PNG shipping industry needs a coordination mechanism that will make the industry run effectively and meet the development and service needs of the people, especially in the Maritime provinces and districts.

The School Community Accountability Agreements (SCAAs) for Elementary schools in the Transgogol area of Madang District were launched at Barum Elementary School (Mair & Barum Elementary Schools SCAAs). The School Community Accountability Agreement (SCAA) and Community Governance Groups (CGG) for Annaberg and Kwanga Elementary schools in the Middle Ramu District, Madang Province were officially launched by the Consultative Implementation and Monitoring Council (CIMC) on the 17th of June at Kwanga Elementary school.
