Annual regional development forums are cordinated by the CIMC, bringing together identified representatives from all sectors in the Mamose region. These include government, churches, private sector, youth, women, CSO's and members of civil society. Speakers are also invited from the various sectors including government, the private sector, members of civil society and from community based organisations representing certain interests. The 2015 Mamose forum was held at the Madang Resort Hotel in Madang. It was well attended by delegates from the other 3 mamose provinces with Morobe having a fair sized contogent from the provincial administration led by the Acting Provincial Administrator Mr Gioving Bilong.
The forum was opened on behalf of the Chairman of the CIMC and Minister for National Planning & Monitoring, Hon Charles Abel by Hon Anton Yagama, member for Usino/Bundi. He acknowledged the role of the CIMC as a dialogue platform that can be used by people from all sectors to deliberate on issues of national interest and thanked CIMC for bringing the forum to Madang. Many participants applauded the role of the forum and asked for similar ones to be conducted at the districts in the region.
