The Momase Regional Development Forum was held at the Madang Resort Hotel from the 17-18th of May 2018. The objectives of the forum were:

  • Inform provinces and districts of the Medium Term Development Plan (MTDP III) 2018-2022;
  • Dialogue with provinces and districts on medium-term development potentials & priorities; and
  • Ensure alignment of sub-national development planning to MTDP III, 2018-2022.

The Mamose Region has 4 provinces- West Sepik, East Sepik, Madang and Morobe. The regional forums are rotated between each province in the region and the 2017 forum was conducted in Wewak after the last Mamose forum was conducted in Madang province in 2015.
