The role of the Committee is to:

• Provide a forum for positive exchange of ideas among members and the wider community on natural resource management strategies, policies, projects and best practice;
• Strategize to improve customer services regarding natural resource management by creating networking opportunities and partnerships to address local and regional issues;
• Strengthen and support existing training and capacity building mechnisms to increase relevant skills and knowledge for natural resource management and practice;
• Promote collaboration, strategic partnerships and a holistic approach in addressing issues in the natural resources sector.
